For many, Thanksgiving is the time of year when families gather, memories are made, and gratitude flows. Yet, not everyone has that picturesque Thanksgiving filled with warmth and laughter. Sometimes, the chaos and stress overshadow the joy.

Thankfulness
Thanksgiving is just around the corner—a time that always fills my heart with gratitude and warmth. Since childhood, Thanksgiving has held a special place in my life. I fondly remember times with my family, even when things went hilariously wrong. One year, in the middle of cooking, our refrigerator’s water dispenser started spewing water everywhere! The whole family slipped and scrambled to stop the flood, turning a disaster into a cherished memory we still laugh about today.
This season, let’s each take a moment to reflect on what we’re thankful for. Maybe it’s the loving support of family, the comforting presence of friends, or even a small, peaceful moment at the end of a long day. Gratitude doesn’t have to be grand. It’s in the little things: the quiet moments, shared laughs, and that cozy feeling of knowing you’re safe and cared for.
Do you sometimes struggle to find gratitude? It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by commitments, anxiety, or even the thought of sharing a meal with challenging relatives. But remember, Thanksgiving isn’t about stress—it’s about connection. Don’t wait for disaster to remind you of what’s precious. Choose to surround yourself with people who uplift you, bringing joy and peace to your life.
If you feel overwhelmed, try this simple grounding exercise: stop, breathe in deeply, breathe out, and count each finger on your hand. Remind yourself, “I can handle this.” Gratitude is a choice, and sometimes, we just need a moment to reset and remember.
This Thanksgiving, may you find comfort in family, joy in tradition, and peace in every little moment. I’m here if you need an extra hand or just someone to talk to. Wishing you a season filled with gratitude and warmth.
